After a nine-year long career in financial services Joris de Wringer decided to start up as an independent advisor in the field of takeovers and mergers in 2000. Until 2006 he principally advised shareholding directors on purchase and sale transactions in a variety of sectors. From 2006 to 2015 he focused entirely on deals involving private equity.

At present, besides his advisory work for Factor, he acts as the designated corporate finance adviser of a Dutch business which operates internationally within the field of process technology. In addition to having studied Business Economics and Law at the Hoge Economische School in Rotterdam he successfully completed the Executive Master of Business Valuation at the Tias School for Business and Society.
